A leading aircraft manufacturer wanted an automatic way to predict and identify the presence of ice on an aircraft wing in untested configurations in a laboratory research environment.
Arion proposed and built an image recognition model to automatically identify ice. These results were then fed into our predictive model so that unknown factors of new configurations were dramatically reduced during physical icing trials.
